Extrasensory: A Community Art Exhibition, 2017

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tennessee introduces Extrasensory: A Community Art Project. Inspired by artist Nick Cave and the dynamic, multi-sensory engagement of his work, this project will offer free studio workshops between February and May of 2017. Members of the community will join local teaching artists to help create collaborative artworks that engage and express the five senses. Art-making processes and learning styles will be accessible to people of all abilities and ages. The five finished artworks will be exhibited in the Frist’s Conte Community Arts Gallery from October 13, 2017 – February 25, 2018.
